Scientific rationale

An earlier version of this test (on paper) was tried out on 20 dyslexic pupils and 20 control pupils in the 6th and 7th class. The pupils came from 6 different schools. In this pilot test the test administrator read the sentences out loud and recorded the pupil's answers manually on a cassette recorder.

A computer version was developed in 2003-2004. The test is in use in several Norwegian schools and pedagogical centres. It has also been tested out on pupils in Hungary and India. Further reading about the test and test results is found in:
