The test is used on a Windows platform (XP and Vista).
The computer must have a sound card, loudspeaker or head set to listen to the audio, as well as a microphone for recording.
If the environment is noisy, it is necessary to have head sets for both test administrator and pupil. The green plug in each head set fits into an adaptor (or splitter), since there is only one line-in for listening (marked with the loudspeaker symbol). It is useful to have a volume control on the cable.
The font "Verdana" must be installed on the computer. This is usually found on all computers. Check this with "Start" → "Settings" → "Fonts".
